Preparations for Shraddha ritual were going on at home. Food was being cooked when suddenly the cylinder caught fire and the cylinder exploded. About 50 people were injured in this incident, out of which the condition of many people is critical. The incident took place in Masaudhi of Patna district.
Accident occurred due to gas leaking
Regarding the incident, local people say that the Shraddha ritual had ended in the house of Saint Paswan. This morning Sant Paswan’s daughter Khushboo (12) was cooking food on a small cylinder. Then suddenly there was a leak in the gas cylinder and within no time the cylinder caught fire. As soon as the cylinder caught fire, there was an atmosphere of chaos at the spot. Before anyone could do anything, the cylinder exploded.
Took half a dozen houses in its embrace
As soon as the cylinder blast took place, the house caught fire and then the fire engulfed 6 houses around that house. About 50 people got burnt in this entire incident, who are undergoing treatment in the primary hospital and private hospital. Then the local people informed the police about the incident. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started providing treatment to the people injured in the incident.
