Brother Killed Sister In Motihari: The body of a young girl was found about 200 meters away from her house on June 7 in a village in Ghorasahan police station area of Motihari district. The police investigated the case and made a disclosure on Sunday (June 30). Sufiyana was murdered by stabbing her 25 times, not by anyone else but by her own brother and cousin. In this murder case, the police have now sent the deceased’s own brother and cousin to jail.
He killed his sister and threw her away from the house
According to the information, on June 6, in the Ghorasahan police station area of the district, Rizwan, with the help of his relatives, killed his own sister by stabbing her 25 times and threw her body some distance away from the house. In the murder case, the Ghorasahan police recovered the body on June 7 and identified it as Sufiyana Khatoon, a resident of Singrahia village, and started legal proceedings. The police called the Scott Dog team and conducted an investigation, but did not get any success.
After this, Dhaka SDPO Ashok Kumar started investigation in the case. On the basis of suspicion during interrogation of the family members, the deceased girl Sufiyana Khatun’s brother Rizwan was taken into custody and after interrogation the whole case was revealed. The deceased’s brother Rizwan told the police that our sister was married and she broke her marriage and was living at home. She had illicit relations with many boys.
‘Our honour was being tarnished’
Despite being forbidden, she did not listen. Many boys from the village used to come and go. Despite catching many of them red handed, she did not listen. Our respect in the society was being tarnished, after which in anger, I stabbed my sister to death with a knife along with my cousin Azam Alam. To ensure that we are not caught, we threw the body a little distance away from the house.
While revealing the incident, Dhaka SDPO Ashok Kumar said that Rizwan, the brother of Sufiyana Khatun, has accepted the murder. Rizwan’s cousin Azam Alam from the same village had helped in the murder. Both of them were arrested in this incident and the accused was sent to jail on Sunday.
