Bihar Health Department: 12 people are ill due to diarrhea in Nawada ann

Bihar News: Diarrhea infection has spread in the scheduled hamlet of Jhour village of Kochgaon Panchayat of Warisaliganj block of Nawada since Thursday. Half a dozen children and elderly people are undergoing treatment in the hospital due to diarrhea. While the health team that reached the village is treating some of the affected people by giving them necessary medicines and ORS in the village itself. It was told that about a dozen people in the hamlet have been infected.

The villager gave information

Villager Pradeep Prasad said that since Thursday, the people of the village were complaining of vomiting and diarrhea. Then people took some medicine from the local rural doctor, but the infection kept increasing. Late on Friday evening, half a dozen victims were brought to the hospital for treatment. While on Saturday morning, the health department team reached the affected village and started treating the victims.

Regarding this, the doctor said that first of all cleanliness should be done in the colony. Do not eat stale food at any cost. Drink boiled water. In case of defecation or vomiting, immediately go to the PHC and get treatment.

The health department team is conducting a camp

After getting the information, the health department team of the local hospital is camping in the affected hamlet and telling the people about the necessary medicines, proper advice and methods of cleanliness. Villager Rajkumari Devi said that the drain of the village next to the scheduled hamlet is clogged with dirt. Which is the main reason for infection. The people of the affected scheduled hamlet drink tap water. It is possible that the water may be contaminated due to a burst pipe line somewhere, so people are being advised to drink water only after boiling it.
