Bihar Government Schools: Government schools closed for children due to severe heat in Bihar are going to reopen from Monday (10 June). From Monday, all government schools across the state are to be operated at a new time. Regarding this, on the orders of Additional Chief Secretary in charge of Education Department, Dr. S Siddharth, Director of Secondary Education Sunny Sinha has released a new schedule of the school from 10 June to 30 June on Thursday (6 June), in which it has been said that the school will be operated from 6:30 am to 11:30 am. After that, another letter has been issued on Friday (7 June), in which it has been said that the teachers of the school will be given a break of 20 minutes for snacks.

Education department issued this new order

On Friday, on the orders of the Additional Chief Secretary in charge of the Education Department, Director of Secondary Education Sunny Sinha has issued a new letter in the name of all District Education Officers, in which a talk has been held regarding fixing the time for snacks break for teachers and non-teaching staff posted or deputed in government schools. It has been said in this letter that on Thursday, June 6, the Education Department has fixed the time for conducting academic work in schools from June 10 to June 30 through a relevant letter, a need has been felt for fixing the time for snacks break for teachers and non-teaching staff posted or deputed in schools.

Therefore, in the light of this order, without changing the period fixed for academic work in schools, instructions have been issued to take a decision at their own level for a 20-minute snack break for teachers and non-teaching staff posted or deputed in schools, after any one bell as per requirement, considering the local situation, if necessary.

Earlier on Thursday, the education department issued an order to conduct classes in schools from June 10 to 30 from 6:30 am to 11:30 am, which includes prayer session from 6:30 to 6:45, first bell from 6:45 to 7:20, second bell from 7:20 to 7:55, third bell from 7:55 to 8:30, fourth bell from 8:30 to 9:05, fifth bell from 9:05 to 9:40, sixth bell from 9:40 to 10:15, seventh bell from 10:15 to 10:50, classes under Mission Daksha for students of classes 3-8 from 10:50 to 11:30, regular classes for students of classes 9-12 have been ordered.

For the children who are not covered under Mission Daksh, sports, painting and other creative activities will be organized, while from 11:30 am to 12:10, mid-day meal will be provided to students of classes 1-8 and special classes will be conducted for students of classes 9-12, along with which sports, painting and other creative activities have been scheduled for the children who are not covered under special classes. Along with this, in this new order, the school principal and teachers and non-teaching staff have been asked to be present 10 minutes before the school starts. It is known that due to the leave of Additional Chief Secretary in-charge of Education Department KK Pathak from June 3 to June 30, Chief Secretary of CM Nitish Kumar Dr. S Siddharth has been given additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department.
