Girl Student Suicide: On September 13, in Barkagaon of Mirganj police station area of Gopalganj, an intermediate student committed suicide by setting herself on fire after being upset with the scolding of her family members. She locked herself in a room and set herself on fire, due to which she died by burning alive. Police is investigating the case.
She was angry with the scolding of the people at home
It is said that Gautam Tiwari’s 17-year-old daughter Shivani Kumari, a resident of Barkagaon in Mirganj police station area, was studying in Inter. On Friday evening, the family members scolded her for some reason. According to the information, after having dinner at night, all the family members went to sleep in their respective rooms of the house.
When Gautam Tiwari’s family members were still asleep, the sound of screaming and shouting of the intermediate student started coming. When the family members woke up, smoke was coming out of Shivani’s room, but the door of the room was locked from inside. Due to the door being locked from inside, other family members could not help her, due to which the student died of burns on the spot.
The girl’s father is ill
On receiving the information about the incident, a police team led by Mirganj police station in-charge Inspector Kishori Chaudhary reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. On being asked about the matter, police station in-charge Kishori Chaudhary said that the dead girl’s body has been handed over to the family after post-mortem. The matter is being investigated. At the same time, the girl’s father is said to be ill, who was undergoing treatment in a hospital in Gorakhpur. The family is heartbroken after the incident.
