CM Nitish Kumar on Hathras incident: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expressed deep condolences on the death of a large number of people in the stampede during a religious gathering in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. According to a press release issued by the Chief Minister’s Office on Tuesday, Nitish Kumar said that this incident is extremely sad and painful.

According to news received from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan expressed condolences on the incident and said in a post on ‘X’, ‘I am deeply saddened by the tragic stampede in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, which resulted in the death of many people. Our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.’

According to news received from Chennai, Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi and Chief Minister MK Stalin expressed grief over the Hathras incident. On the official ‘X’ handle of the Raj Bhavan, Ravi said, ‘I am deeply saddened by the death of people in the unfortunate stampede in Hathras. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families in this hour of grief. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.’

116 people died in a stampede during a satsang

The Chief Minister said, ‘My heartfelt condolences to the victim families. I wish the injured a speedy recovery. We stand with the affected people in this difficult time.’ Let us tell you that a stampede broke out in a satsang organized in Sikandrarao area of ​​Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, in which 116 people died and many others were injured.
