A major accident has taken place in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh. A tourist bus collided with an auto rickshaw. Three passengers died in the accident, while nine people were injured. One of the injured is in critical condition. The police have taken the bodies into custody and started investigation.

According to the information, a tourist bus going from Mirzapur to Prayagraj hit a cargo auto rickshaw in front of Khamharia Damuan village of Vindhyachal police station on Sunday morning. Three people died on the spot in the incident. 10 injured were taken to Sarroi Health Center, from here all were referred to Mirzapur Trauma Center. The condition of a child remains critical.
It is being told that all the people travelling in the auto rickshaw were going to visit Vindhyachal from Kada Manik. Some people from Sarai Memraj of Prayagraj were coming to visit Vindhyachal with their relatives after visiting Kada Manik Dham in Kaushambi.
15 people were travelling in the goods carrying auto rickshaw. Around 5 am in front of Khamharia Damuan village, a tourist bus coming from Mirzapur hit the auto rickshaw. The collision was so severe that the auto rickshaw was shattered into pieces.
