Bhilwara News: In Rajasthan, an inter-state gang that stole RU network devices from the network towers installed by mobile network companies has been busted. Bhilwara Police has arrested eight accused related to this case.

Police have also seized Rs 15 lakh and 6 devices from their possession. The special thing is that these gangs sell stolen devices abroad.

District Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh said that on September 13, 2024, a report was lodged at Pratap Nagar police station in Bhilwara city of Rajasthan by Rajendra Singh, security supervisor of Indus Company. In this he had said that a tower of private limited Airtel company has been installed near Mansarovar Lake. Thieves stole the RRU fitted on it.

A case was registered on this report. District Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh formed a team under the direction of ASP Paras Jain and supervision of DSP City Manish Gurjar to curb the increasing incidents of RRU device theft of mobile towers in the district.

Arrest made with the help of CCTV
After this the police immediately started investigating the matter. By analyzing more than 500 CCTV cameras and BTS of all the incident sites, Cyber ​​Cell named and arrested all the accused including the main leader of the gang involved in the crime. 06 RRUs (Network Devices) were recovered from this gang.

Those arrested by the police include Shivlal Sharma son of Gopal Sharma resident of Udaliyas police station Kotdi, Niraj alias Gopal Purohit resident of Dhokalia, Anil son of Kailash Chandra Khatik resident of Akola police station Badlias, Bhanwar Kharol son of Bhairu Lal Udaliyas, Atul Tiwadi son of Gopal Lal resident of Dhokalia. , Gautam Sharma son of Pappu Lal, Shivlal Purohit son of Satyanarayan and Jitya resident Chandraprakash alias Roshan Sharma son of Mulchand.
