As soon as the body of army jawan Suman Yadav, who was martyred while fighting terrorists on July 21 in Ropa hilly area of Himachal Pradesh, reached his native village Sahora under Navgachiya police station area on Thursday (July 25), there was mourning among the family members. The eyes of the people of the village became moist.
Funeral held with state honors
The body of martyr Suman Yadav was wrapped in the tricolour. A crowd of villagers gathered for the last rites. After roaming around the village with the body, the last rites were performed with state honours. Along with the public representatives and social workers of the area, thousands of people were present in the last journey of Suman Yadav. People bid farewell to the martyr with tearful eyes.

Some people from nearby villages had also reached to get a glimpse of Suman Yadav, the martyred son of father late Ramvriksh Yadav and mother Dulari Devi. In honor of the brave son, the youth were seen chanting slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Veer Sapoot Amar Rahe. As soon as the mortal remains of martyr Suman Yadav reached home, his mother, sister, brother all reached to see him in a distraught state. The people of the village consoled him.
The villagers said we are proud of the martyrdom
The villagers said that we are all proud of the martyrdom of Shaheed Suman. Our land is full of the sacrifices of brave sons in the past too. The soil here has the ability to die for the country. During this time, Navgachiya SP Puraan Kumar Jha, DSP Omprakash Prakash, Rangra BDO Anu Bharti and other officials were present on the spot.
