New Delhi. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced to provide financial aid to the Indian team participating in the Paris Olympics. Board secretary Jay Shah on Sunday announced a financial aid of Rs 8.5 crore to the Indian Olympic Association on social media. A total of 117 athletes from India are participating in this mega event to be held in Paris. The BCCI took this step so that there is no shortage of facilities for the Indian players.
The mega sports event Olympics is going to be held in Paris from next week. It is to be held from 26 July to 11 August. Everyone’s eyes will be on the Indian players. Last time in Tokyo Olympics, India performed its best and won a total of 7 medals. This time, there is a strong hope that the number of medals of India will increase. BCCI has extended a helping hand to the players. The board has announced to give an amount of Rs 8.5 crore to the Indian Olympic Association.
