Joyce family has been popular in Ireland
The most famous face of the Joyce family, Edmund Christopher Joyce alias Ed Joyce, has not only played for Ireland and England in international cricket but has also scored six centuries in ODIs. Ed’s younger brother Dominic Ignatius Joyce alias Dom Joyce has also played three ODIs for Ireland. Ed’s elder brother Augustin alias Gus Joyce has also played a first class match. Sisters also did not lag behind brothers in this matter. Ed’s two sisters Isobel Joyce and Cecelia Joyce have also represented Ireland in international cricket. Isobel and Cecelia are twins. The Joyce family is extremely popular in Ireland because of their cricket skills.

Two brothers made their debut in the same match with teams from different countries
Let’s talk about Ed Joyce, who played the most international cricket from the Joyce family. Born in Dublin, Ed has four brothers and four sisters in his family. All of them have been very passionate about cricket. Ed was the first to enter international cricket. Ed, who played a significant role in Ireland qualifying for the 2007 World Cup, shifted to England for better career and opportunities and played his first World Cup (ODI) for this country in 2007. Ed made his ODI debut for England against Ireland on 13 June 2006. The interesting thing is that in this ODI, he was playing for England while his younger brother Dom was playing for Ireland. This match became very interesting due to the two brothers playing for different countries. However, both could not make a big contribution in the match. Ed, who opened for England, was dismissed after scoring 10 runs, while Dom, who came in as opener for Ireland, could not even open his account.
