Someone informed Magistrate Pankaj Gupta posted in Bhanpur Tehsil that illegal soil mining is going on in Khamhariya village. On receiving the information, Saheb reached the village with a huge entourage. He started threatening the youth who was mining there, to which the youth said that I am taking this soil for my home. On hearing this, Saheb got furious and without thinking twice, the youth got angry, to which the youth also started saying his point, which the Magistrate sahab did not like so much that he showered abuses on the youth. Saheb did not stop here and got down from his official vehicle to beat the youth. The villagers made a video of this act of Tehsildar sahab towards the public and made it viral on social media.
Magistrate gave clarification
When we talked to Tehsildar Pankaj Gupta about this whole matter, he presented his side and said that after getting the information, he had reached the village to get information about illegal mining of soil, where a rowdy youth started misbehaving and abused his security personnel, after which he could not tolerate it anymore, so he got down from the car and started explaining to him, whose video is being made viral by some people, which is baseless. His intention was not to abuse or hurt anyone.
