Baramulla: Properties worth crores of terrorists living in Pakistan seized

The police seized property worth crores of rupees belonging to five terrorists who were operating anti-India activities from Pakistan. This action was taken on the basis of a confiscation order passed by a local court.

The terrorists whose properties were seized include Bashir Ahmed Ghani resident of Tilgam, Mehraj Ud Din Lone resident of Khargam, Ghulam Mohammad Yatoo resident of Tilgam, Abdul Rehman Bhat resident of Wanigam Pain and Abdul Rashid Lone resident of Satresiran.

All of them had crossed the border and gone to Pakistan many years ago. Now they sit there and conspire to spread unrest in the Kashmir valley. Their confiscated property also includes 9 Kanal land. This action has been taken on the basis of an FIR lodged at the Kreeri police station.

Drug smuggler’s house worth Rs 22 lakh seized

Baramulla Police, taking strict action in its ongoing campaign against drug smugglers, has seized a house of notorious drug smuggler Hilal Ahmed Wani located in Barzulla Kunjar area. Its value has been estimated to be around Rs 22 lakh. Police has found out in preliminary investigation that this property has been acquired from the money earned from drug smuggling.
