Army deployed in many areas of Dhaka

Earlier, the interim government of Bangladesh had made it clear on Saturday (9 November 2024) that Awami League will not be allowed to organize the proposed rally on Sunday. He had said, “Awami League in its present form is a fascist party. Under no circumstances will this fascist party be allowed to hold protests in Bangladesh.”

Army and police have been deployed in many areas of Dhaka to stop the gathering and protests of Awami League. It is being estimated that a large number of Awami League supporters will gather in Dhaka after 3 pm on Sunday (10 November 2024). For this, 191 contingents of Bangladesh Border Guard have been deployed.

Mohammad Yunus’s government had warned

Shafiqul Alam, press secretary to Chief Advisor Mohammad Yunus, warned, “Anyone who tries to organize rallies, meetings and processions by taking orders from mass murderer and dictator Sheikh Hasina will face the full strictness of the law enforcement agencies.” have to do it.”

Awami League had issued a statement on Facebook urging the party supporters to gather at Shaheed Noor Hussain Chhattar or Zero Point in Gulistan on Sunday to protest against the misgovernance.
