Balochistan Protest: In Balochistan, social activist Zaheer Baloch has been declared missing, after which protests have intensified in Quetta city of Balochistan. They say that 54 people have disappeared from 12 districts of Balochistan in the month of June. They allege that the Pakistani Army is making people disappear. Violent protests are taking place in Balochistan over these issues. During a discussion on this issue, a Pakistani youth said that ‘Jihad is necessary’ and he also explained the definition of Jihad.

Actually, Pakistan’s famous YouTuber Sohaib Chaudhary has talked to the people of Pakistan about the ongoing protests in Balochistan. During this, a young man from Pakistan said that Jihad is needed in Palestine at this time. The youth said that according to Islam, Jihad is necessary and it should continue when required. The youth said that ‘Jihad does not mean killing people of other communities, but Jihad should be done according to the place where oppression is happening.’

Are the people of Balochistan doing ‘jihad’?
The Pakistani youth said that Israel has attacked Palestine at present, so Muslims all over the world should do Jihad against Israel. The youth said that the status of Islam comes first, then the nation. When Sohaib asked that there is oppression in Balochistan, Kashmir and even Lahore, should there be Jihad against this as well? Or the way the people of Balochistan are protesting, is what they are doing right in terms of Jihad? Answering these questions, the Pakistani youth said that the government should have done development in Balochistan, which they have not done.

There is no development in Balochistan
The youth said that people from Balochistan come to Punjab to study, there is no university there. There is no system of education, so people there are struggling. The youth said that Jihad does not mean violence.
