Bajaj Auto has launched another variant of its popular electric scooter Chetak. The new scooter has been launched under the name Bajaj Chetak 2901. The company has claimed about this scooter that it is the most affordable electric scooter. The scooter has been launched under the Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024 (EMPS 2024). Because of this, this scooter becomes more affordable than Bajaj Chetak Urbane and Bajaj Chetak Premium. It has a 2.88kWh battery. It can go up to a range of 123 km on a single charge. Bajaj Chetak 2901 Electric Scooter of Price in India It is priced at Rs 95,998 (ex-showroom Bangalore). This scooter comes under the Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024 (EMPS 2024) which makes it cheaper than other models in the lineup. It is Rs 27,321 cheaper than the Bajaj Chetak Urbane. While it is Rs 51,245 cheaper than the Bajaj Chetak Premium.

Bajaj Chetak 2901 can be purchased in four color variants including Azure Blue, Ebony Black (MET), Racing Red and Lime Yellow. The sale of this electric scooter is said to start from June 15. It will be available for purchase at dealerships across the country.

Bajaj Chetak 2901 electric scooter has a 2.88kWh battery. While the Urbane and Premium variants have 2.9kWh and 3.2kWh batteries respectively. According to the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), this scooter has a range of 123 km. It can reach a maximum speed of 63 km per hour. It takes 6 hours for the scooter to be fully charged. That is, it can be charged from 0 to 100% in 6 hours.

Apart from this, the affordable electric scooter has a color LCD instrument console like the earlier variants. It has an economy riding mode. If you can spend 3 thousand rupees more, then another riding mode is available in it by the name of Sports. Along with this, Bluetooth connectivity and music control are also provided for calling. Hill hold resist, reverse mode and follow me home lights are also provided in it. It has a single side link type front suspension and monoshock. It has drum brakes for braking.
