Lahore. Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Mohsin Naqvi said on Thursday that no decision has been taken yet on Babar Azam’s future as captain. Naqvi says that further decision will be taken only after consultation with Pakistan team’s head coach Gary Kirsten and former players. Pakistan team captained by Babar Azam had a very poor performance in the T20 World Cup 2024. People are criticizing Babar Azam’s captaincy since the poor performance in the World Cup. Babar was re-appointed captain for the World Cup. Earlier, he left the captaincy after the team’s poor performance in the ODI World Cup last year.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said that he will meet the team’s head coach Gary Kirsten and assistant coach Azhar Mahmood in Lahore soon. And will discuss the national team’s disappointing performance in the T20 World Cup. He said that he will not take any decision in haste. PCB refuses to give NOC to Babar Azam
