Ayodhya Ram Mandir: After the consecration of Lord Ramlala in Ayodhya Ram Mandir, lakhs of devotees are reaching for darshan every day. Meanwhile, the work of the second phase of Ram Mandir construction is also being done at a fast pace. In this, the work of the first floor is almost complete but the work of the second floor is 50 percent complete. According to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, Rs 850 crore is to be spent on the construction work in the temple complex in this financial year.
Along with the rampart, temples of seven sages and six deities are also being given shape in the Ram Mandir premises. All this construction work is being done by the implementing agency Larsen & Toubro Company. The trust is planning to spend a total of Rs 850 crore on various items in this financial year.
850 crores were spent on the construction of the temple
Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, recently made public the accounts for the financial year 2023-34, in which the total expenditure on development of infrastructure and revenue items has come to Rs 1800 crore. He said that the total actual expenditure this year was Rs 776 crore. Out of which Rs 540 crore was spent on temple construction and Rs 236 crore on others, this also includes the amount spent on Pran Pratishtha.
Champat Rai said that in the current financial year 2024-25, Rs 850 crore is to be spent on the construction of the temple. Out of these, Rs 670 crore is to be spent on other temples being built in the temple complex, while Rs 180 crore will be spent on other works of the complex.
Let us tell you that these days construction work is going on on the second floor of the temple in the Ram Mandir complex. Along with this, work is going on for Sapta Mandapam, temples of six deities and the ramparts. For this, work is going on in the temple complex at museum, guest house, roads, power plant and other places. As per the new date, by June next year Ram Mandir The construction work will be completed.
