Ayodhya Ram Mandir 20 new priests deployed in the service of Ramlala involved in Aarti and Shrangar ANN

UP News: Now 20 new priests will be deployed in the service of Ramlala in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. All of them have also been given appointment letters on Wednesday. Appointment letters have been distributed to all of them after training by the religious committee of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust. Additional priests will also be required for other temples under construction in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex, for which trained priests will also be appointed through training camps.

The Archak training program for Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple started from December 2023. During the training of about 6 months, they were explained the method of worship rituals in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. Vedic scholars of the religious committee of Shri Ram Mandir Trust trained all of them. Under the online process, the applications of all these were accepted and out of these applicants, 24 applicants were selected. Out of which two were selected in the beginning while one candidate was removed after verification. 20 candidates completed the training session and now all of them have been appointed.

Apart from the sanctum sanctorum of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple and the first floor where Ram Darbar will be established in future, they will be deployed in the other 6 temples being constructed within the rampart. At present, all these priests will participate in the Bhog Raga Puja Paath Aarti and Shringar of Ramlala under the leadership of Chief Priest Satyendra Das. However, after the Pran Pratishtha program, these priests have also been given practical training in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in different groups. If Shri Ram Mandir Trust sources are to be believed, it will be selected as per their qualifications as to who will be appointed at which place in future. In the 6 temples to be built within the rampart, there will be 3 to 4 priests in each temple between 4 am and 11 pm. Similarly, these priests will also be deployed in the temple of Lord Shiva on Kuber mound. Most of the priests will be deployed in the service of Ram Lalla in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple.

Mister Ram Mandir Trust’s office in-charge Prakash Gupta said that there are 20 priests who were taking training here for 6 months. Those who were selected from about 2000 people, their training was completed and yesterday they were given appointment letters by the trust. They have been assigned duty in the temple many times, in the future also when our Ram Darbar is built and other temples are built, they will be assigned there too.
