In fact, in view of the increasing conflict between Iran and Israel, the Central Government on Wednesday asked all Indian citizens to follow the necessary guidelines for their safety. The government has asked Indian citizens to avoid all non-essential travel to Iran. In the guidelines issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, Indian citizens living in Iran have also been advised to remain alert and keep in touch with the Indian Embassy in Tehran.
