The law would essentially impose an age limit on major platforms without any exemptions, making Australia’s new policy one of the strictest internationally.
For this, platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Till now no country has taken such a step where such stringent criteria have been used for login on social media platforms. After the implementation of this law, it will be the responsibility of social media platforms to prevent underage users from logging on to their platforms.
