Aam Aadmi Party has accused the central government regarding the budget. Finance Minister Atishi said on Thursday that the central government has cheated the people of Delhi in every budget for the last 10 years, whereas in 10 years, the people of Delhi gave income tax of Rs 15,59,933 crore to the central government. In return, Delhi got only Rs 7,534 crore.

Atishi said in the press conference that Maharashtra gets Rs 50 thousand crore in lieu of Rs 5 lakh crore income tax, Karnataka gets Rs 30 thousand crore in lieu of Rs 2 lakh crore income tax, but when the people of Delhi pay Rs 2 lakh crore tax annually, why do they get only Rs 1061 crore in total. Why is the central government doing injustice to the people of Delhi?
