Posting on social media on Friday, Ashok Gehlot wrote, “Candidates have already expressed apprehension of malpractice in the NEET exam and result. Many children from the same centre getting full marks, candidates with similar roll numbers topping, etc., many such aspects are giving strength to the apprehension of malpractice in the exam.”

Former Chief Minister’s entry in NEET result controversy

Former CM Ashok Gehlot said that it is a question of the future of lakhs of children and the credibility of the medical profession. He demanded an investigation from the Central Government and NTA, showing seriousness in the matter. Let us tell you that in NEET UG exam 2024, one question was of four marks. But many students were given 718, 719 marks out of 720. Experts say that it is not logically possible. The student can either leave the question or answer the question wrong. Even in such a situation, he gets 716 marks. But in no case can 718 or 719 marks be obtained.

He wrote on the social media platform X, “The future of lakhs of children and the credibility of the medical profession is at stake. Therefore, the Central Government and the National Testing Agency should seriously investigate the matter so that justice can be ensured for everyone.
