Delhi News: Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal paid obeisance at Delhi’s historic Rakabganj Sahib Gurdwara on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti on Friday. He first went to the holy place and bowed his head. He accepted the Prasad.

After this, while talking to the media, Kejriwal mentioned the teachings of Guru Nanak and said that we should build a better society by following the path shown by him. He also wished the countrymen a happy Guru Nanak Jayanti.

On this occasion, Arvind Kejriwal said that Guru Nanak ji always emphasized on truth, service and equality. His life and ideology are inspiring for the society even today.  It is noteworthy that Delhi Assembly elections are near, in such a situation, Aam Aadmi Party leaders are seen continuously visiting religious places.

A few days ago, Arvind Kejriwal had also reached the famous Hanuman temple in Connaught Place, Delhi, where he offered prayers and took blessings. On his anniversary, Kejriwal along with his wife Sunita Kejriwal had come to Tirupati Balaji to have darshan and seek blessings.

This is being considered an effort to give a positive message among the public regarding the upcoming elections. There is discussion even in political circles regarding these visits to religious places. Some are calling it the election strategy of Aam Aadmi Party, while some consider it an attempt to connect with the public. Anyway, this step of Kejriwal seems to be strengthening the image of the party.
