Arrah News: An 18-year-old youth was shot dead in Ara, Bihar. Someone called the youth and called him out of his house on Friday. The incident took place near the Surya Mandir near Khalpura village in the Sandesh police station area of the district. After receiving information about the incident, Sandesh SHO Santosh Kumar reached the spot and started investigating the matter. Meanwhile, the police recovered two empty shells and live cartridges from the spot. After this, the police called the FSL team. The police took the body into their custody and got its post-mortem done at Ara Sadar Hospital.
The family of the deceased gave information
The deceased has been identified as Vishal alias Lalu, 18-year-old son of Manjay Singh, a resident of Vishambar village of Gadhani police station area. According to the information received, Vishal used to study at his maternal grandmother’s house in Dehri village of Sandesh police station area since childhood. At the same time, the deceased’s maternal grandfather Bindeshwar Rai told that on Friday night at around 11 o’clock, he received a call on his mobile, his mother picked up and asked where he was calling from, he said that I am calling from Banaili village, is it Lalu? Then his mother said that he is sleeping and will not go out. After some time, a call came on his mobile again. After this, he went out of the house and did not return.

On Saturday morning, Vishal’s body was found near the Surya Mandir in Khalpura village. He was shot dead. The local people informed his family about this. On the other hand, the deceased’s maternal grandfather Bindeshwar Rai has clearly denied any enmity or dispute with anyone in his village, but he has accused his grandson’s friends of carrying out this incident. However, the police is investigating the matter at its own level.
What did the SP say in the matter?
On this matter, Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar said that someone called Vishal Kumar Yadav between 11:00 pm and 12:00 pm and later it was found out that someone had shot him dead. After the information, the forensic team and DIU team and senior officials reached the spot. Action has been started to uncover the incident and arrest the accused.
He further said that the family members of the deceased have accused some people of threatening them in the past and plotting to kill them. That is also being investigated. A team is working under the leadership of Assistant Superintendent of Police Sadar to arrest the accused soon and solve the case.
