Launch Missile: India and Israel have very good relations, but in the coming days, the weapons of both the countries may come face to face. Armenia has shown interest in India’s ‘Doomsday missile’. It is being told that Armenia wants to counter Israel’s Long Range Artillery (LORA) ballistic missiles. This missile has been made by Israel Aerospace Industries and this missile is with Armenia’s arch enemy Azerbaijan.

Eurasian Times reported in one of its reports that Armenia can buy India’s ‘Pralay missile’ to counter LORA. Recently India has exported Brahmos missile to Philippines. Now it is believed that if India is able to sell Pralay missile to Armenia, it will strengthen the image of DRDO in the world. Pralay missile is more indigenous than Brahmos. In such a situation, India’s percentage of earnings from its sale will also be higher.

What is the difference between LORA and Pralaya
Israel’s LORA missile has a range of 400 km and is equipped with GPS system. It is capable of attacking within a range of 10 meters from its target. In comparison, India’s Pralay missile is a surface-to-surface ballistic missile. Pralay has a range of 150-500 km. It has been developed by DRDO with BMD system. This missile reaches the target using inertial technology. This missile can be controlled during the entire flight. A radio system has been installed in Pralay for terminal guidance. Pralay has an indigenous fused silica radar dome.

India’s ‘catastrophic disaster’ is like Iskander missile
In many ways, India’s Pralay missile is similar to Russia’s Iskander missile. Russia’s Iskander missile has proved to be very effective in the war with Ukraine. Its range is also the same and both can miss their target by up to 10 meters. India also uses Pralay missiles in large quantities. A report in December 2022 stated that the Ministry of Defense has approved the purchase of 120 Pralay missiles for the Indian Army.
