Probably he can take charge on 3rd October, the first day of Navratri. Here the discussion in the ministry is that for the first time the ministry is running without CS for two consecutive days.
Let us tell you that Anurag Jain, Secretary in the Ministry of Transport and Highways of the Central Government, has been made the Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh. He has been given the responsibility of CS post in place of Veera Rana. The order to return his deputation to the state reached Bhopal late on Monday night. After this the state government had issued the CS order. There were speculations that CS Jain would take charge on Tuesday, but he did not come on Tuesday.
Ministry without CS
Here, on the non-arrival of the CS on Tuesday, there was discussion throughout the day that this is the first case of its kind in the administrative system of the state, when the ministry is running without the CS for two consecutive days. It is being told that CS Jain can take charge on October 3, the first day of Navratri.
Veena Rana’s tenure ended on 30 September
After the retirement of the then Chief Secretary Iqbal Bains, Veera Rana was given the charge of Chief Secretary on 30 November 2023, after which she was given permanent responsibility. His tenure was ending on March 31, but he was given retirement for 6 months. Now his tenure has also ended on 30th September. However, it is being said that till now his farewell ceremony has not been held in the ministry.
