Sunetra Pawar Elected Rajya Sabha Member: Sunetra Pawar, wife of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, was elected unopposed as a Rajya Sabha member from the NCP on June 18. Returning Officer and Secretary of the Maharashtra Legislature Secretariat Jitendra Bhole announced her election to the Upper House. Only Sunetra Pawar’s application was received for this post.
