Ajit Pawar NCP MP Praful Patel Reaction on Maharashtra Budget 2024

Maharashtra Budget 2024: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar presented the state budget for 2024-25 in the legislature on Friday. In the budget, it has been announced to give Rs 1,500 every month to women. This allowance will be given to women between the ages of 21 and 60. Now NCP MP Praful Patel’s reaction has come on the budget of the Maharashtra government.

NCP leader Praful Patel said, “Maharashtra Budget was announced yesterday and it is for the benefit of people from every section of the society. Good steps have been taken to provide relief to farmers.”

Pawar, who is also holding the finance portfolio, said in his budget speech in the assembly that the ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin (My Dear Sister) Scheme’ will be implemented from the month of July. It is being implemented four months before the assembly elections in the state in October. He said that the annual budgetary allocation for the scheme will be Rs 46,000 crore.

Announcing another welfare scheme, the Finance Minister said that under the ‘Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana’, an eligible family of five members will get three free LPG cylinders every year. He also said that the electricity bill dues of 44 lakh farmers in the state will be waived off.
