Agra News: The month of Sawan is just about to start. On the other hand, due to the first Monday of Sawan, a big change has been made in the traffic in Agra. In the month of Sawan, Kanwar Yatra has special importance. A large number of devotees participate in the Kanwar Yatra and the slogans of Bam Bam Bhole are heard all around. In the month of Sawan, the devotees of Lord Shiva take water from the Ganges river and offer it to Lord Bholenath to please their idol and fulfill their wishes.

It is said that in the month of Sawan, Lord Bholenath’s blessings are showered on his devotees. The atmosphere is full of devotion all around. On the first Monday of Sawan, a crowd of devotees of Lord Shiva will be seen in Agra. The slogans of Bam Bam Bhole will resonate in the Kavad Yatra. People will be present on the roads to serve the devotees participating in the Kavad Yatra. The devotees who are bringing Kavad will be served and there will be a flood of devotees in the Shiva temple.

The route will remain diverted till July 22
Due to Kanwar Yatra and the first Monday of Sawan, changes have been made in the traffic system of Agra. There will be a route diversion in Agra on the Kanwar Yatra and the first Monday of Sawan. Keeping in mind the safety of all during the Kanwar Yatra and the arrival of devotees in the temples in Agra city, major traffic changes have been made. The route diversion system in Agra will start from 4 pm on July 21 and will be in effect till the end of the program on July 22. During this time, the no-entry in Agra city will not be opened.

The route will be diverted in these areas
The route diversion on the first Monday of Sawan and the Kabad Yatra in Agra will be as follows. Vehicles coming from Hathras district will be sent towards Sikandrarao Mathura. Vehicles coming from Mathura will be able to go towards Firozabad without any hindrance. All vehicles coming from Aligarh will be taken through Etmadpur NH 19 via Mudi Chauraha. All vehicles coming towards Etah will be taken through Etmadpur NH 19.

Heavy vehicles coming from Gwalior/ Jaipur will be diverted to NH 19 via the Southern Bypass. Vehicles coming from Fatehabad will go via the ring road. All entry points to Agra city will remain closed for vehicles plying on NH 19. Along with this, the route will be diverted inside the city as well. The decision to divert the route has been taken in view of the first Monday of Sawan and the Kabadi Yatra.
