Afghanistan did not give permission

According to the information, Vistara flight from Delhi to Frankfurt was not allowed by Afghan authorities to use their airspace because there was a bomb threat. Due to which the plane had to return to Delhi. Officials said that flight UK25 from New Delhi to Frankfurt, Germany was operated by a Boeing 787 aircraft and had more than 240 people on board. However, there has been no immediate comment from the airline on this matter.

The plane returned to Delhi

In this case, sources said that after the Afghan authorities did not give permission to take off from their airspace, the plane returned and landed safely at Delhi airport at around 1620 hours. The Vistara aircraft took off from New Delhi airport at around 1:100 pm. After which the airline had said in a post on X at 4:19 pm that flight UK25 from Delhi to Frankfurt (DEL-FRA) is returning back to Delhi.

Bomb threat to more than 100 flights

The continuous false threat of bombing planes has become a challenge for the Indian government. Talking about this past week, about 100 flights have received bomb threats, but they turned out to be false. Regarding the planes being affected by threats, on Saturday, Vistara had said that it has received security threats for six flights including UK25.
