After a meeting with MLAs in Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party has taken a big decision. The party issued a statement saying, AAP will fight the assembly elections in Delhi alone. The alliance was for the Lok Sabha elections. Let us tell you that today (Thursday) the party had called all its MLAs for a meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence. At present, AAP has 62 MLAs in 70 assembly seats.

BJP will be wiped out in the assembly elections

Aam Aadmi Party targeted the statement of BJP President. AAP leaders say that the party strongly condemns any politics based on caste or religion. We are committed to inclusive development which benefits everyone. The central government is anti-poor. The result of the Lok Sabha elections has exposed the failure of the BJP. The BJP government used bulldozers to demolish the properties of the poor. We are grateful to the people of this country that they gave a befitting reply to the BJP. BJP will not be able to amend the Constitution to end reservation now.

Talking about the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi, the vote share of AAP has increased significantly compared to the 2014 and 2019 elections. In all the constituencies of Delhi where central government employees live, they have voted heavily in favor of AAP and against BJP in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections. Despite the strong performance of BJP in the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP was reduced to just three seats in the 2015 assembly elections and 8 seats in 2020. This time the vote share of AAP has increased in the Lok Sabha. In such a situation, this time BJP will be wiped out in the assembly elections.
