A person was getting the old house repaired, when he broke the wall, he got lucky and found bundles of currency notes.

While repairing an old house, most people think that they might find buried money somewhere. We keep a sharp eye all around to see that nothing comes out from the wall itself, which our grandparents had kept hidden. One person also had a similar wish. As soon as he broke a wall of the house, he jumped with joy. Because treasure was found buried in the wall of the house. This money was so much that for a moment he even thought about retirement. He felt that his luck had turned, but then he got a huge shock. His happiness turned into disappointment.

According to the report of Daily Star, Tono Pineiro, a resident of Valencia city of Spain, was getting his old house repaired. They were getting it designed keeping the future in mind. But then he hit the jackpot. Six containers kept inside the boxes came out from one wall, in which 47,000 pounds i.e. about Rs 49 lakh were kept. Seeing this Tono jumped with joy. He felt that now there would be no shortage of money. He also thought about taking early retirement.

happiness turned to despair
But soon his happiness turned into disappointment. When he came to know that a total of nine million pesetas of notes had been taken out of circulation by the Bank of Spain 20 years ago. Due to this now these notes remained only paper. There could be no use of them. Nothing could be purchased from them. Could not be given to anyone. Even banks will not take it.

The bank refused to accept
Tono tried to give it in the bank. He said, I told him about my discovery, but he clearly said that now we cannot take these notes. Because they have no value for us. Tono said- Now we will keep these notes as souvenirs. However, it was a matter of relief that some of these notes were in circulation and by giving them to the bank, Toane collected Rs 31 lakh. With this money he has got a new roof installed. Tono said, I think the ancestors might have kept the notes in these containers to protect them from moisture. Some of these were spoiled. But this discovery was amazing.
