According to the report, in an effort to improve relations with the US, Pakistan’s military chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa went on an official visit to Washington in October 2022. His aim was to reassure the US that the Pakistani army is inclined towards the US rather than China or Russia.

Bajwa promised the US that the Pakistani army’s priority would be towards Washington rather than Beijing.
