Indian Embassy US: A dead body has been found in the Indian Embassy in Washington DC, and the police have started investigating the matter. The police suspect that the man committed suicide by hanging himself inside the Indian Embassy. According to local officials, the fire brigade was informed about the incident late on Wednesday night. The police have not found any indication of foul play in this death.
According to BNO News, officials were informed of the incident at 10:19 pm on Wednesday. The fire brigade was informed that an unconscious man was lying in the Indian Embassy located at 2107 Massachusetts Avenue NW. According to paramedics, the man appeared to have hanged himself and was declared dead at the scene. At present, the identity of the deceased was not immediately released.
The embassy did not disclose the whereabouts of the body
A Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson told BNO News that, ‘Initial investigations do not suspect foul play and the death is under investigation.’ The US Secret Service also arrived at the scene and saw an apparent suicide. Both the Secret Service and the embassy did not immediately respond to requests for information.
Recently an Indian student died in Canada
Recently, an Indian student who had gone to a lakeside party on his birthday in Canada, died. His friend and brother were also present at the time of the incident. The father of the deceased student had requested the Indian government to bring his body back to India. The deceased student was a resident of Rangareddy district of Hyderabad. He was looking for a job after completing his PG studies in Canada.
