Chennai. The Test series between India and Bangladesh is going to start this week. Team India is sweating it out for the first match to be held in Chennai. Young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal, who made a great start to his Test career, was seen struggling against Jasprit Bumrah and other fast bowlers during the Indian team’s net session on Monday. Jaiswal is considered the future star of Indian cricket and has impressed a lot with the bat in the first year of his Test career.

This left-handed batsman has scored 1028 runs in his first nine Test matches at an average of 68.53. However, he scored more than 700 of these runs in the last home series against England. He could not perform as expected in the two Test matches on the tour of South Africa in conditions favorable to fast bowlers. Jaiswal will face the challenge of fast bowlers like Taskin Ahmed and Nahid Rana, who are in great form, in the two-Test series against Bangladesh starting September 19.

Bangladesh fast bowlers will trouble

Taskin and Rana troubled the batsmen a lot with their speed, swing and bounce on the Pakistan tour. They helped the team win the Test series against Pakistan for the first time. Jaiswal also failed to make an impact in the first-class match in the current season. In the Duleep Trophy match, he returned to the pavilion cheaply on the balls of Avesh Khan and Khalil Ahmed.
