A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a 27-year-old father in Swansea.

Joshua Norman died after he was discovered with serious injuries on Cwm Road in the Hafod area of the Welsh city last week.

The 27-year-old was found at around 12pm on 11 September.

Paul Rosser, 49, from Gendros, appeared at Swansea Crown Court on Monday charged with Mr Norman’s murder.

In a tribute released by South Wales Police, Mr Norman’s family described him as a “loving son, father, brother and uncle”.

They said he was a “beautiful person whose smile and sense of humour would light up any room”.

A 31-year-old man who was arrested in connection with Mr Norman’s death has been released on bail.

Two other men in their 30s who were also arrested have been released under investigation, police say.
