UP News: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh yogi adityanath He has given instructions to immediately start the process for appointment to all the vacant posts of Lekhpal, Revenue Inspector and Naib Tehsildar as well as clerical cadre.

While reviewing the functioning of the Revenue Department and the available human resources in a high-level meeting on Friday, the Chief Minister said that in view of the changing nature and volume of work in the Revenue Department and Revenue Council, skilled youth should be deployed. In order to adopt the latest technologies, IT skilled people should be deployed in Tehsil, District, Division and Revenue Council.

He has said that the Revenue Department is directly connected to the common man. From income, caste and residence certificates to measurement, enrollment, house title, khatauni, survey, lease and many other important matters can be resolved in a timely manner. For this, not only new appointments are required on the vacant posts of the department, but new posts should also be created as per the requirement. He also pointed out the need to create new posts of Settlement Commissioner (Rural), Settlement Commissioner (Urban) and Director Training under the Revenue Council.

What instructions were given
The Chief Minister said that the Revenue Department personnel often have to visit the field for the work of the general public. In such a situation, it would be appropriate that vehicle allowance should be given to the Lekhpals and Revenue Inspectors. Similarly, to increase the efficiency of the Naib Tehsildar, a four-wheeler should be made available to them. Also, new tablets should be made available to the Lekhpals and Revenue Inspectors for better execution of GPS related works.

The Chief Minister directed that the works related to the common people should be resolved on the basis of merit in a timely manner, no case should remain pending unnecessarily. Emphasizing on the training of revenue personnel, the Chief Minister also gave instructions to further improve the basic infrastructure at Raja Todarmal Survey Bhulekh Training Institute, Hardoi.
