US Teacher Charged for Molesting Student: A 26-year-old former female teacher in Missouri, USA has been found guilty of having sex with a 16-year-old student. According to a report in People magazine, a high school math teacher named Hailey Clifton-Carmack had sex with a student this year.

The female teacher is accused of having sex while other students stood guard. Initially, Clifton-Carmack was charged with child abuse, rape and endangering the life of a child, in addition to sexual contact with a student. However, these charges were later dropped.

Teacher’s scratches on student’s body

The female teacher is currently under house arrest as she is to be sentenced on October 11. According to a statement, the boy showed pictures of scratches on his back to another student, claiming that these scratches were inflicted by Clifton-Carmack. The female teacher could face up to four years in prison under the Sexual Offender Assessment Program of the US state of Missouri.

A witness also alleged that the victim student claimed that Clifton-Carmack divorced her husband because of him. Court records also confirm that the female teacher divorced her husband in September 2023. In December last year, the victim filed charges against the teacher. However, despite this, she was talking to the victim till December 23.

Case filed against father

A witness alleged that the victim’s father was aware of what was happening to his child. When asked, the father said, “They are going to do it behind my back, so I might as well let it happen.” The student’s father has also been booked for endangering his child but the case has been deferred until the female teacher’s sentencing on October 11.
