Ram devotees living abroad will also be able to donate funds for the construction of Ram temple. The hurdle of taking foreign donations for the construction of Ram temple has now been removed. The application made by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has been approved by the FCRA Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Ram Mandir Trust is now able to accept donations in any currency of the world.

Giving the above information, Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, said that any trust has to submit audit report of at least 3 years to the Home Ministry for taking foreign donations. Ram Mandir Trust had completed 3 years in February 2023. After that, three years’ audit report was prepared and application was made in July. Which has received permission from the Home Department. Champat Rai told that a large number of Ram devotees sitting abroad often expressed their desire to dedicate funds for the construction of the temple, but the Trust did not have legal recognition for this. Now this obstacle has been removed. Foreign Ram devotees can donate voluntary funds for the construction of the temple.

Told that any voluntary contribution received from foreign sources will be accepted only in the account number 42162875158 of the main branch of State Bank of India located at 11 Sansad Marg, New Delhi-110001. Money sent to any other bank and any other branch of State Bank of India will not be accepted.
