After the incident at a coaching institute in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi, the owner and coordinator of the coaching centre have been taken into custody by the police. The police is questioning both of them. The process of arresting both of them has also been started. On Saturday evening, a student and two girl students died due to water logging in the basement of the coaching centre. They have been identified as Shreya Yadav, Tanya Soni and Navin Delvin. The families of all three have been informed.

Student Shreya Yadav was a resident of Ambedkar Nagar in UP. While student Tanya was a resident of Telangana. Student Navin was a resident of Kerala. He was also doing PhD from JNU. He was preparing for civil service for about eight months. Police has informed the families of all three.
Central District Deputy Commissioner of Police M Harshvardhan said that the deceased have been identified. One girl is from Ambedkar Nagar in UP and the boy is from Kerala, while the other girl is from Telangana. Police have registered a case under sections 105, 106 (1), 152, 290 and 35 of the BNS.
On the other hand, the rescue operation at the coaching institute is almost complete. Only a little water is left. The building including the basement has been completely evacuated. No one is trapped there. After the accident, the Mayor of Delhi has ordered action against coaching centers operating in violation of building bye-laws.
NOC will be withdrawn from coaching center
Giving information, Delhi Fire Services Director Atul Garg said that we got information about the incident at 7.12 pm yesterday. We sent five fire engines to the spot. When we reached there, we saw that the basement was flooded. The level of the road and the basement had become equal. When the water on the road decreased, the work of removing water and pumping started. Three bodies were recovered. The building was given a fire NOC and the basement was to be used for storage and parking. The owner misused it. We will take action against them and now we will take back their NOC.
