Yellow alert issued in Punjab
In Punjab, the temperature has dropped by 7.6 degrees due to rain and hailstorm in the last 24 hours. The highest temperature was 30.7 degrees Celsius. 5.0 mm rain was recorded in Amritsar on Monday, 20.6 mm in Ludhiana on Sunday night, 10.6 mm in Patiala, 17 mm in Pathankot, 11.5 mm in SBS Nagar, 16 mm in Ropar, 15 mm in Gurdaspur, 15.6 mm in Bathinda. . The weather department has also issued a yellow alert for Tuesday. Along with light rain, there is a possibility of lightning and strong winds. According to Chandigarh Meteorological Department, the mercury will fall at night after the rain.
Reduction in pollution level of Haryana
Due to rain, pollution has also been seen to reduce in many cities of Haryana. As of 6 am today, AQI is currently 177 in HSPCB, Sector 51, Gurugram. Apart from this, Faridabad has 215 AQI. 64 AQI was recorded in Karnal, Kurukshetra 42 AQI, Bahadurgarh 144 AQI, Bhiwani 177 AQI, Charkhi Dadri 102 AQI, Panchkula 57 AQI, Rohtak 147 AQI, 83 AQI was recorded in Narnaul.
