Bihar Police big disclosure about honey trap in kidnapping case of two businessmen in Jamui ANN

Jamui Kidnapping: Police conducted a raid and arrested four kidnappers who were absconding in the case of honey trapping and kidnapping of two businessmen from Machhindra Jakhraj Baba temple under Jhajha police station of Jamui. Police recovered a car, two bikes and other items used in the kidnapping from them. SDPO Rajesh Kumar gave information about this entire case in a press conference at Jhajha police station on Friday afternoon.

At the same time, the two kidnapped businessmen were identified as Abhimanyu Kumar, resident of Neemarang, Jamui and Rahul Kumar alias Chandan Mishra, resident of Balwadih village under Barhat block.

SDPO gave information

SDPO Rajesh Kumar said that on 22 July 2024, a woman called two businessmen via phone to meet her near Machhindra Jakhraj Baba temple in Jhajja. There, notorious criminal Dharma Paswan, who was already lying in wait, kidnapped the businessman at gunpoint and the villagers caught him and handed him over to the police. At the same time, after interrogation, all the kidnappers have been sent to judicial custody. The SDPO said that the police is raiding possible hideouts to arrest the woman who did the honey trap. She will be arrested soon.

The victim businessman narrated his ordeal

The victim businessman had told that a girl called him and asked him to meet her. She was in contact with Dharma Paswan gang and they kidnapped him at gunpoint. Luckily, with the help of villagers, he was freed and the kidnapper was handed over to the police. Police arrested the main gang leader Dharma Paswan and Arjun Singh along with the weapons. Four more criminals have been arrested on the information given by the arrested criminal.

It is said that on the information given by the arrested Dharma Paswan, the police of Jhajha police station raided different places and arrested four absconding kidnappers. The arrested kidnappers have been identified as Kapil Dev Yadav alias Suraj Yadav alias Pappu Yadav, Deepak Thakur Gauri Amba, Mahesh Kumar Yadav, all three are said to be from Bhairoganj of Banka district. The fourth miscreant Sudhir Paswan is a resident of Amba Sarari of Town police station area.
