While going from Sultanpur Civil Court to Lucknow on Friday, Rahul Gandhi’s convoy suddenly stopped at Ramchet Mochi’s shop in MLA Nagar of Guptarganj. Before people could understand anything, Rahul went inside the shop and started talking to Ramchet. During this time Rahul Gandhi also stitched shoes and slippers. He also learned about the problems faced by him in the work. He assured that we will become your voice.

Rahul Gandhi asked how the family runs? Ramchet said that sometimes he gets 100 and sometimes 50 rupees from the shop. On hearing the answer, Rahul got into deep thought and asked how he manages the family with such little income? Ramchet informed Rahul about the details of the work and said that the financial condition of the house is very bad. If I get some financial help, I will start a new business. There is no self-respect in this work. People look at me with contempt. This is the reason why he has kept his son away from this work. Flowers were showered on Rahul in the civil court

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi entered the Civil Court premises at around 11 am on Friday along with Congress State President Ajay Rai and former MLC Deepak Singh. As soon as he arrived, the Congressmen already present there welcomed him with a shower of flowers. During this, the police had to work hard to control the crowd.
