CM Nitish Kumar Inspected The Upcoming Anishabad Phulwari AIIMS Elevated Four Lane Project

Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday inspected the Anishabad-Phulwari-AIIMS elevated four lane project to be built on NH-139 (old NH-98). The Chief Minister stopped at Anishabad Golambar and AIIMS Golambar and took detailed information about this project. During the inspection, Additional Chief Secretary of Road Construction Department, Pratyaya Amrit, while giving information regarding this project, told the Chief Minister that the total length of this entire project is 8.9 kilometers, of which 7.9 kilometers is to be an elevated road. There will be provision for ramps towards Anishabad and AIIMS. More than Rs 1,000 crore will be spent on this entire project.

‘Prepare DPR of this project by December 2023 and start work soon’

During the inspection, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to prepare the DPR of this project by December 2023 and start the work soon. He said that the construction of this elevated road will bring great relief to the people of Phulwarisharif and they will get freedom from jams. Also, people will find it very convenient to go to AIIMS. The traffic of Patna city will be better due to this and people will also find it convenient to go out of Patna.

Many officers were present during the inspection

During the inspection, Finance, Commercial Tax and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Deepak Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary of Road Construction Department Pratyaya Amrit, Secretary of Road Construction Department Sandeep Kumar R. Pudukalakatti and other senior officials were present.
