Basti News: In some districts of Uttar Pradesh, the condition of government hospitals is getting worse instead of improving. There was chaos in the women’s hospital of Basti district at midnight when the condition of not one or two but more than 100 patients admitted in the ward deteriorated. People in the hospital could not understand what was happening suddenly. Some time ago, the nurse had given injections to all the pregnant women. However, the condition of all the women is stable now.
Actually this whole matter is of Basti Mahila Hospital, where at around 11 o’clock the nurse started giving injections to all the pregnant women admitted in the ward. After some time of the injection by the nurse, the women started showing the effect of the injection. The patients told that they have been given expired injections. Due to which the health of the patients deteriorated, after getting the injection, the condition of more than a hundred admitted patients started becoming critical.
The condition of women worsened due to injection
Most of the pregnant women were admitted in the wards. The result of negligence is that the nurse administered the injection dose to the patients without checking. The condition of many patients is still bad. Doctors are now treating them after checking them. Some patients allege that because it is a government hospital, no one’s complaints are heard. When the condition of the patients started deteriorating, neither any doctor nor any nurse was found in the emergency, the patients were suffering in the ward for a long time.
What did District Magistrate Ravish Kumar Gupta say?
When District Magistrate Ravish Kumar Gupta was talked to about this matter, he told that the hospital staff gave the same injection to all the patients admitted in the ward, which was a painkiller. After this, everyone started having problems, it is strange that all the patients got sick at the same time. This is being investigated. The matter of expired injection is not true, the needles that were given to the patients are still good, but what was the problem with the medicine due to which the patients had problems, they are getting it investigated.
