Haryana News:Gurugram Police has arrested a cyber criminal for cheating a Rapido bike rider. The accused carried out the incident by sending a fake message of money credit. ACP Cyber ​​Crime Priyanshu Diwan said that the victim had given a written complaint to Cyber ​​Police Station Manesar. He had described himself as a Rapido bike driver. The complainant received a booking of a Rapido ride on the online app on July 15.

The location on the online app was Paras Hospital Manesar. On reaching Manesar, the customer told on the phone that his friend is admitted in Paras Hospital. He said that his friend does not have money. The customer expressed his inability to transfer money to his friend. The customer sent a fake message of Rs. credit and got Rs. 6000 transferred through Phone Pay. ACP Priyanshu Diwan said that on the basis of the complaint, a case was registered in Cyber ​​Police Station Manesar and investigation was started.

Accused of cheating Rapido bike rider arrested

During the investigation, the accused was arrested by the Cyber ​​Crime Manesar team from Nuh. The arrested accused has been identified as Hashim. Hashim is a resident of Chandka village in Nuh district. The arrested accused told that the amount defrauded from the complainant was transferred to the bank account of his partner. At present, Gurugram Police is further interrogating the accused. Efforts are being made to find out since when the accused is involved in the fraud business. Does the accused commit fraud by forming a gang? The police has expressed hope of big revelations after the completion of the interrogation.
