There has been heavy destruction in Palchan due to the midnight cloudburst at Anjani Mahadev near Solanganala in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. The Manali Leh road has been blocked due to debris falling on the Palchan bridge. A house also collapsed in Palchan due to the flood caused by the cloudburst.

Heavy rain alert for seven days in many parts
According to the Meteorological Center Shimla, there is a yellow alert for heavy rain in some parts of the state from today till July 31. At the same time, heavy rain has occurred in many parts last night. 68.0 mm rain was recorded in Palampur, 44.0 mm in Dhaula Kuan, 42.6 mm in Nainadevi, 35.4 mm in Dharamshala, 27.0 mm in BBMB, 25.0 mm in Dalhousie, 24.8 mm in Shimla and 22.0 mm in Chamba.
