In the case, Gandhinagar Superintendent of Police (SP) Ravi Teja Vasamsetty said that Surya was living with her friend Raja in Tamil Nadu for eight months. Raja is guilty of murder.

She was the main accused in a child kidnapping case

According to the police, the two wanted to start a business together, but their plan failed when the police arrested Raja. While Surya was accused of harboring a murder convict. Apart from this, she was the prime accused in a child kidnapping case and the Tamil Nadu police was searching for her.

Gandhinagar SP told the whole story of Surya

To cover the losses in business and meet legal expenses, she sold her property to a woman named Lakshmi. She then moved to Bengaluru and enrolled in a course to become a chef. When Surya urged Lakshmi to help pay the course fees, she refused and asked Surya to sell her remaining property. Surya then allegedly got Lakshmi’s son kidnapped in Madurai, for which an FIR was lodged against him and four-five others two weeks ago, SP Vasamsetty said. In the letter, she claimed that she has been falsely implicated in both the cases. Further investigation is underway, police said.
