Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024: All the political parties have become active regarding the assembly elections to be held in October in Maharashtra. In such a situation, statements of party leaders are coming out from seat sharing to winning of seats. Meanwhile, an important statement has come from the party regarding how many seats Raj Thackeray’s party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena will contest in the upcoming assembly elections of the state.

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Prakash Mahajan on Monday (July 22) said that his party will contest 200-225 seats in the Maharashtra Assembly elections, likely to be held in October.

Prakash Mahajan told a news channel that this decision was taken by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray and the party workers are fully prepared for it. He said that MNS is against caste-based reservation and believes that all such benefits should be based on financial criteria.

He also attacked Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray for his love for Muslims and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his support to the party. Narendra Modi MNS also targeted the party for opposing the ruling coalition of BJP, Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar-led NCP in the Lok Sabha elections. Now Raj Thackeray’s party has announced to field its candidates on 200 to 225 seats in the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections.

Let us tell you that in the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra, the main contest is between two big alliances Mahayuti and Mahavikas Aghadi. While Mahayuti has Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde, BJP and NCP led by Ajit Pawar, Mahavikas Aghadi has Congress, Shiv Sena led by Uddhav Thackeray and NCP led by Sharad Pawar.

In Maharashtra, however, Lok Sabha Elections In 2015, Mahavikas Aghadi defeated Mahayuti but now it remains to be seen who defeats whom in the assembly.
